Getting out of town always seems to be such a big deal in Hollywood movies. Characters are constantly trying to escape the town they grew up in, for example, The Last Picture Show, The Postman Always Rings Twice and Stand By Me.

I guess, getting out of town is some kind of a myth. This, I suppose, is why it needs to be so tricky and agonizing. Can't Stop Me Leavin' is a comedy about one desperate couple's escape that challenges this very myth.

The irony here is that this is Japanese town and the couple's escape doesn't look very hard nor painful. Will their escape succeed? Or will it fail as in other movies? Either way, you'll witness a new myth born in Higashiayamato city of Japan.
